Preliminary Retirement Analysis

Most of your working career you will be contributing to an employer superannuation fund. Discovering whether your current superannuation is going to be enough to retire on is a question that most people will encounter sooner or later.
At New Wealth Directions we can calculate the level of superannuation you will accumulate through to retirement, then how long the money will last after you retire.
Answers to these questions need to be known now, while you have some time on your side. Doing the retirement calculation as soon possible and not 5 minutes before retirement, when it's all too late is very important. If your money is not going to support you at the level of living standard you are used to when you were employed, it's better to find out as soon as possible.
When it is five minutes before retirement, contemplating the best balance of pension income can be a daunting task. Choosing between all of the superannuation pensions avaliable then being assessed by Centrelink to receive a pension, then overlaying the tax implications of each strategy is a complicated process for any one.

Preliminary Share Analysis

If you currently have a portfolio of shares and would like to do a review of your current holdings, we can offer you professional research on your shares, if they are prominent Australian shares listed on the Australian stock market.
The value of shares go up and down, with the reasons for this being extremely varied. Companies are like living things and they are constantly changing in value going up and down on a daily basis.
Share markets in America have now been in decline for three years. The last time this happened was during the Great Depression of the thirties. Yes, you have to look in the history books to discover this information. Stock Markets are like living things too. It stands to reason that they do replicate living things because Stock Markets are the collective view of many millions of people on the value of any particular security.
Share research analyses companies in great detail and helps you understand the value in holding or selling or in fact buying more of the current holdings you have.
In this bear market it stands to reason to get your shares reviewed because the economies of the world have changed dramatically. Since the September 11 tragedy in the States we live in a different world for investing.

If you hold shares and aren't actively seeking current information about them, be prepared for volatile times.
